Yes this is really Polish Dnace and Folklore. The Huculy region was historically in Poland for hundreds of years. It only became Ukranian in the last century. The highlanders who for centuries have inhabited the Carpathian mountains, are now mainly in Ukraine, the northern extremity of Romania, as well as in Slovakia and Poland.

No this IS Ukrainian...the Huculs are from the Ukrainian side of the Carpathians
