MacLeod vs Clae, Highlander, Season 5, Episode 3, "The end of innocence". This was my first FX edit. I didnt want to make the swords look just like lightsabers, but to look like swords covered in energy keeping the shape. About half way through I realized why ppl make round lightsabers. The animation was very difficult due to perspective changes.

@sliggydiggy It's still tons better than any duel from the crappy prequels. It's actually better than any original trilogy duel either.
And it's not even Star Wars! Highlander rocks.

the funny thing is now picturing these guys with light sabers, this fight on one episode on a tv series did a better job then all 6 star wars movies.....
