Frank Sumares was one of my instructors at Chabot in the mid-80's. He was one of instructors that influenced me the most. He was a guy who was not only one of the best musicians that I know, just listen to him on this video, he was a great teacher and music educator. I still remember things he said to our class. My rhythm sucked and he made me a singer play percussion in concert band.
Studied with Frank at the Stanford Jazz Camp. Keep up the great work!

Frank was also one my music theory teachers at Chabot College.
Whenever he would touch a piano, I would be mezmerized!!!
Not to mention he was HILARIOUS with the side jokes!!!
Good to know that he's still got it!!!
