Alex Hutchings: Boss gear on the roland stand musikmesse 2009 part 1

I'd like to thank Alex Hutchings for not jumping when I finally caught up with him on Saturday. The Musikmesse is just huge, and although I had seen Alex on Friday, I lost him in the crowd. I finally caught up with him on Saturday where he explained that he was in the keyboard hall on the Roland stand. These videos are his presentation of the equipment... the guy has a natural sense of humour and his playing / sound is out of this world. I had head phones on while videoing so I did not know if the sound would come put OK, but I think it did. Alex Hutchings is the new BOSS demonstrator in the UK, but also appeared at the musikmesse. Alex covered the VG-99, GT-10, Loop Stations and the ME-range of Multi-FX so be be prepared to be impressed.

fusion players quite often play more like scale exercises or licks and have straightforward rock phrasing. not mr. Hutchings. we could give this man an archtop, a polytone amp or something of this sort, tell him to play all the things you are, and he would do an amazing job, i'm pretty sure about that... he's just got it all.

Once you say that music is just what came from inside of one, you MUST figure out that Alex Hutchings have some amazing things to let out. Incredible player. Every one of his phrases feels right and intense. Can't get tired of his music, never. Truthful thumbs up!
