In dealing with Debt Collectors simply tell you audience to look up FDCPA on line and read it for themselves to find out exactly what they can and cannot do relating to collections. The collection company can be prosecuted for any and all violations accordingly. Better case would mount if you can record the conversation - check your state and federal wire-taping law. All the other advice sounds great. Thank you for your post. Now--go take care of that child and call your husband back! Peace

your part 2 is complete BS lol... i am an officer and yes you can file a police report on it BUT we are not going to contact the freaking telemarketers and tell them to stop calling you... and if you want to go through the right chain as far as legally you go to the DA's office not your local PD.. if you choose to make a report with the PD the report will just simply sit in the system... we as officers have more pressing cases to direct our man power to rather than making a phone call for you

Important things to learn from this vid:
1: telemarketers are not legally allowed to call before 8:00 AM your local time.
2: If they call you more than twice a day, it's harrassment; & you can report them to the police.
3: When you pick up the phone, instead of answering, immeadiatly press the pound key(this one: #) repeatedly, to make them think it's a fax number.
4: You can call a lawyer fro a free counsultation, and have them warn the telemarketers that they can be sued.

@SinnFein4ever actually the pound key only works for the cold calls....where it is a machine that calls your number trying to figure out what time you are most apt to answer the phone and as soon as you say hello you hear nothing...about 5-10 seconds after that you hear a click and the call has been ended....but other than that you picked up on it very well...thanks for watching and happy new year!!!
