Absolutley magic the best trad band ever !!!!!! The aggression of Paddys pipes with the smoothness of Matts flute. Triona.Michael Kevin and the fantastic Donal bringing everything together. Hey Cowell you dickhead watch musical talent at work not the drivel you peddle out on X Fucktor !

These guys are a LEGEND. As good as it gets thanks for the upload

@Frakfayt Some more names... Paddy Keenan on pipes, Micheal Dhomnhaill- guitar, Triona Ni Dhomnaill on keyboard. if this is 1977, that should be Kevin Burke under the hat playing fiddle.

@beencybouncyburger -- maybe one of the Martin Wynnes' and the Enchanted Lady?
-
@Frakfayt :)
-
Some names: Matt Molloy playing the flute, and Donald Lunny (ex Planxty) on the bouzouki...

@beencybouncyburger Tell me about it. I have always had a very limited capacity for memorizing tune names, add to that that it works by the FIFO principle - the name that got in first goes out first as soon as a new name comes in... ;O)
Well, never mind - I can still play 'em!

In my opinion, the only group that could share a stage with Chieftains and not be shamed. It helps that Matt Molloy would be on stage for both acts. This is what music ought to sound like.

Brings up former times, when I was involved in Irish Folk Music... I always loved this great band.

Brilliant music of my youth
It's enough to drive a man mad to be familiar with all this music but remember the names of none of it.

Wow, another great clip. If these ever run out I'll be crushed. Is it just me or does this band always look like they haven't eaten in a week?
