what if you fail it twice? i heard you take a course... but if you take the course do you need to take the osslt again?

@gengx3 If you fail the course in grade ten when you first take it, you have to option to take the literacy course next year or try it again. You can take the literacy test or course in grade 12 also. Passing the course earns you the requirement and is equal to the literacy test itself.

@WorldOfBoomCraft That is true. You can get delayed or deferred status in some rare cases. However, you can re-write the test in Grade 11 and in Grade 12. I suggest that after two failed attempts that students take the Grade 12 Literacy Course in which I have never had to fail a student yet. @gengx3 You have the option of doing two things: 1) Write and pass the literacy test when you are in grade 10, 11, or 12. 2) Fail it twice and then do the Grade 12 Literacy Course and pass it, which will satisfy your high school graduation requirements. Either pass the test or the Gr 12 Literacy Course. You can retake the Grade 12 Literacy Course if you fail it. Either way, success to you. Be the best you can be. Mr. P
