Beautiful looking car. 1955 was the best looking year for the 300 Chrysler.

@Zejawera Chrysler always built the most beautiful cars in America.
-
@MowagW200 Volvo Amazon was first produced in 1956, not early 60's. Right should be right.

my dad got a white car like this

I prefer the look of this version to the later 300's. I've never been that crazy about the "forward look".

I guess all the '54 to '57 Chrysler hardtop cars are looking exceptional.
@KapteinOpel: The Amazon's looking like a small Chrysler. The debut of the Amazon was in the early 60ies. This C300 is '55.

Aaaaa!
The greatest car I ever owned. I had one just like this beauty back in 1967. I also owned three 300K's which were magnificent.... especially the convertible.
Thanks so much for posting this baby... :)

Agree, many design elements are similar to the Amazon, especially the front! Many Volvo cars look much like contemporary American cars, but postwar ones are typically European in size.Early Volvos are very similar to contemporary American cars in looks, size, and engines,e.g. the PV60 looks almost just like a Plymouth, with a similar size flathead inline six under the bonnet..
I find this automovil more beautiful than the Bel Air, the Bel Air is nice but I just find this one better.
