I have images of a christian father and son on the internet and innocently clicking on this video - after seeing the title - and the look on their faces when you get to the brain splattering part - priceless!

OH nonononono, surely you can't think killing is bad when God or Moses do it? When they do it, it's good because the people they kill are funny lookin' or look at 'em funny... or sometimes... they were..... enjoying life =O

nice job, but you forgot to mention why moses murdered the guy and you dont really know for sure how exactly it happened, it wasnt as if he went crazy and hit him over and over, one stone on the head could have done it.
On top of this i didnt watch the whole video but im sure a logical person like yourself could understand why the childrens book leaves these things out.. is it totally wrong to wait until kids are a bit more mature to show them more intense parts of the bible?

Maybe it's wrong to make kids aware of the bible at all. You don't give them a Hannibal Lecter story either, do you?

Moses was angry with the officers of the army who returned from the battle. "Have you allowed all the women to live?" he asked them.
