This is our senior design project. Our goal is to make a player-piano type device which is portable and cheap. We were able to use 16 bit to control 64 outputs, although the piano has only 61 keys.

Our project can press all 61 keys at once however it will require large amount of current.

In this demo, we are playing the exorcist theme

  • Great project and cool idea, the idea of making a portable cheap player piano system that can be used with almost any normal piano is not a new one, sadly no one in history so far has managed to make them cheap enough.. i hope the project goes well, keep it simple and keep it cheap, really something like this today in the market could make alot of money, think of all the old pianos out there with one one to play them properly! anyone with a piano could have a live performence in there own home
