With comparisons to such greats as Emmylou Harris, Joan Baez, and Alison Krauss, singer songwriter fiddle player Stephanie Bettman has been making a splash in Folk Americana and Bluegrass circles. Her partner Luke Halpin is a force to be reckoned with as well. He also plays the fiddle, as wells as mandolin and guitar reminding one of such tremendous talents as Sam Bush, and Mark O'Connor. He also has powerful voice somewhere between Vince Gill and John Cowan. Stephanie & Luke are known for their high energy shows, steam rollin' instrumental licks, outstanding lyrics, sensuous vocals, and harmonies that give chills.

I love this video. It's good for a quick "Stephanie & Luke" fix when I haven't gotten to see them play live in a while... but I'd still rather be in the room with 'em so I can watch their nimble fingers flying and hear their voices soaring and feel the energy they create in the room and in the audience. :)
