No these games are pretty much a straight port of the iphone versions. When developers start being exclusive to the pre is when you'll start seeing better controls and graphics.

i can't see why EA wouldn't utilize the keyboard to control various functions [speed, movements, etc], or can you change that in settings?

Yeah $10, same game goes for $5 on the Iphone, it will probably drop in price as games for the pre start flowing....
