PSCS on KIRO-TV, 1994

Flush with our coverage in Newsweek magazine, the local media took notice. KIRO-TV (channel 7 in Seattle) sent out John Yeager, a funny reporter better known for his wackier stories, to do a piece on us. He must have been under deadline, or at least in a big hurry, because he didn't wait for all the students to arrive at the park before demanding the cameraman to start filming. He also kept asking us, "Gimme a line. Gimme a line," wanting some kind of hook. He finally settled on the one in Newsweek, "The modem ate my homework."
