I wired up an I/O breakout PCB I made with some PATA pins to take care of the DB-9 plug on the SEGA MD controller.
I then programmed in my Arduino, the code to handle it all.
You can see that is shows all the button presses and released in the debug / serial monitoring window. I set it to 300 baud to keep it slow so you could see, with some delays also in place.
This was my first project on the Arduino. I I had received it today in the mail! It is very easy to program with and has many useful features as you can see...
I hope to use PPJoy to take care of the input handling, over Windows platforms, so I can play for example, PlayStation 1 with a SEGA controller ^_^
