I can't stand McCain, he should be a democrat based on his voting record and his views, but I have to sympathize with him on this issue. He was the victim of ruthless torture that crippled him physically and mentally. Waterboarding is not crippling or lethal. It is extremely unpleasent for sure, I would not want to endure it. If we use that "technique", it better be done in very limited, and extreme cases such as the masterminds of 9/11, and should be done only with congressonal approval.
