Lyrics:
O say, can you see,
By the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd
At the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars,
Through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd,
Were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare,
The bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled
banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free
And the home of the brave?
When there's Terrorists here ... and bad guys around... who u gonna call ??? USA... keep fighting the good fight homies...u r the true Heros of this world - We got ur back - INDIA

@franzkillergreens41 Actually no. It was written by a guy that was a prisoner on a ship. He looked out a small hole and saw that "Our flag was still there" even though bombs were bursting through the air. It's in the song. It would make absolutely no sense for people not American to write that song. Just saying. Sorry, I don't want to seem like an arrogant American but that's the best way I can think of saying it without sounding mean.

@UndercoverCracker Actually no , its an old song written by the Anacreonic society that met in London to get drunk and sing songs. Do some research before attempting to be over patriotic.

America, with it's freedom of speech and it's right to bear arms, is the last bastion of freedom in the world.

Love the sound of it, but I feel "last gleaming" kinda doesn't fit the tune. A very minor point to make against quite a lovely tune, I realise.

America really does have the most inspiring and incredible National Anthem in the world.
