  • @psycho2596 I was 13 when I took acid with the Mama's and Papa's. I was living on the street. It was anything but a golden time. It was mostly self-centered Bull built on lies. There was no such thing as a successful commune. There were people trying to be kind, but those kind of people have always been here. It was a dream ruined by drugs even back then. The nostalgia of the former Hippies is one of youth. Create true kindness and love in your life without escapist drugs. You can.

  • @Oratorna Yes, Janis is chatting with Jack Casady of the Jefferson Airplane.

  • @awakeningnow Well, all credit to Scott McKenzie - whom I met in a London guitar store in the 1970s...think he had a small dog with him - for holding his arm and holding his key against that dirge of a tuneless backing band - attributable to the drugs, I'm sure! A beautiful voice and song which mesmerised me as a young kid. Still does...

  • @amanitapanther I'm sure that isn't quite true. Most young people of the 60s might have protested, but not all of them, just like not everyone I know is apart of the Student Movement today.

  • Dear Mr. Scott great

  • 1:56, brian jones.

  • 1'54'' JANIS !!! ♥♥♥

  • What I find saddest About the people of the peace movement is that they are now even greedier and more heartless than the one they rebelled against. They protested Viet Nam because they would have been sent, but backed sending their children and grandchildren to Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • this song makes me want to move to san fran

  • que preciosa cancion saludos concord CALIFORNIA
