I love this song! I found most of the words for it on the internet, but the text is always missing one of the stanzas which I hear being sung, in this case from 2:02-2:40.
No matter how carefully I listen, I can't make out the words 100%

Do you have the *full* lyrics? Could you please post them? Even if it's in German, it will help me understand it.

Dies ist neben dem Lied "Return to Ulster" das ergeifendste Lieder der Volkslieder Beethovens und sogar, so finde ich, schöner als seine Kunstlieder. Aber die Aufnahme hallt irgendwie zu sehr, oder?

Als ich auf die Englischen Lieder Beethovens gestoßen bin, hat mich dieses hier auch als erstes und am meisten fasziniert. Ich kenne leider keine andere Interpretation als diese, sodass ich zu der Frage betreffs Hall keine Stellung nehmen kann.
