its just two minutes of fireflies and such great heights to compare. because everyone says there similar . So what do you think. Got all music from lime wire and pics from Google.com.

I like both bands, but Owl City is my favorite out of the two. Fireflies is actually not too good compared to other Owl City songs like Galaxies, Kamikaze, of If My Heart Was A House.

it really comes down to one plug-in synth sound that sounds similar to another plug-in synth sound used in 2003... bloody hell.

I personally like both. OC creates sort a dreamy, light atmosphere, and PS is more surreal and down-to-earth. They just happen to both be electropop artists with similar voices, but their actual styles differ a lot.

@wc1hater yeah, i dont mind people saying their similar, i just dont like it when someone says Adam Young is copying off of Postal Service. but they are similar and both quite good.

@PearlsofLife3 They're the same genre (electropop). And the soft voice-tone is quite similar.
It makes sense to compare them, imho.

i dont get it....how on earth is people even saying their alike??? i guess they sound a bit like eachother but thats really all, the lyrics are very different. besides even if they are a bit alike, still doesnt mean one person is stealing from another, just that they both are unique and creative artists.
