  • Great review, I was lucky enough to grab em all when they were in Ontario six months ago. Cost wise the 12yr isn't to bad I believe it was $4. I throughly enjoyed the 40 as well but like you said the 30 and 40 aren't worth the price tag. At least not more than once lol. Found your channel through Brian at BBBarfly. Subscribing. Cheers!

  • @TheBeeraholic Thanks for the sub dude, I've been a watcher of yor videos in the past, and you subbing means alot. As for the Ola Dubh, yeah, the 12$ it cost for the 30 year wasn't worth the extra premium, though if the 12yr is almost as good for 4-6$ then that would be a really good value. Brian's an awesome guy, cheers!

  • @TheBeeraholic If you live in the Toronto area were all planning on meeting up for a couple pints at a beer bar downtown. PM me if your interested. Cheers!

  • @TheBeeraholic Unfortunately I live in New Brunswick, but I'd definitely be there if I was in town. Thanks for the invite!

  • I heard they are really good but overpriced for what it is but at the same time i like trying beers so id probably try it once. Innis & Gunn Highland Cask was £2 a bottle when i had one a week or 2 ago which isnt actually that much more than an original.

  • @KieranD212 Agreed. The I&G Highland Cask here is $5 a bottle so it's pretty pricey, I think a bottle of the original is under $3. The Highland wasn't bad but I think I'd rather have an Original, mainly because the Original is just so tasty.

  • @maddmaxstar I preferred the highland cask but its not something i would buy a lot. I am also a whisky drinker though. I agree tho the Ola Dubh is nice but compared to other aged beers its just expensive.

  • @maddmaxstar I think it is the 12 year I will have to check but they were 6 bucks each.

  • @GingRealAleTrail Thanks Ging!

  • @albnorhyno Viking with a limp wrist. Kidding Dave!
