That's the finished circuit of a 3 motor walking robot. The 3 pairs of LEDs simulate the motors which run in one direction for a bit less than a second before polarity is reversed. You can also see my hand while activating one of the two feeler switches. The green LEDs continue flashing the same way as before but the sequence of the of the other LEDs changes. This will make the robot to make a few steps backwards until the circuit automatically switches one pair of LEDs back to normal. This causes the LEDs to flash synchronously. The robot will turn around when this happens and walk away in a different direction until hitting something again. The other feeler will cause the same but turning will be in the opposite direction.
