Jack thank you. I love it and it has encouraged me to keep practicing. Long live Bob Ross (to the nay sayers). =-)

Is Magic White the same thing as Gesso?

Oh and of course, where do you teach?

I guess the great part of it was that you just explain soooo good and easy, I'm gonna try that view for sure! THANKS :D

Thought your video instruction was great! While you painted along you were quite informative. I personally do not do wet on wet, but the techniques shown can still be utilized. I also liked your snow flicking technique. I learned a bit differently, using a toothbrush, but of course it had to be a certain type, but I liked how you did it and am always interested in learning new techniques. I'm originally from Jersey, so, hearing your PA accent was a treat! Keep up the great vids!

Jack Kolber is amazing. he makes me wanna paint all the time. i wish he thought in Los Angeles!
How are they ruining art? The method of painting is "wet on wet". Not "paint it in 24 minutes". Thanks a lot for condemning anyone that might want to try wet on wet painting. You want to know what these people do for art? They teach beginners how to paint. What the hell have you done for art? I'm willing to bet you haven't done a damn thing.

i can't agree with you more PDB, this format teaches beginners the most in this time frame. having taken lessons from both styles of teaching, i have learned more from the wet on wet than the long drawn out lessons. starting and finishing a painting quickly keeps ones interest peaked and ready to go on to the next project. i learned more from these teachers than other teaching methods. i will always go to this style to paint by.
