  • @osudude1313 If I use a copper remover I want to know I got all the remover gone and neutralized. I do not what it eating at my barrel.

  • Thanks for the info, I learnt alot.

  • @anglo1saxon3 Very good I'm glad to hear/read that.

  • Coming completely out of the end of the barrel with a bruch or jag and pulling back thru can damage the crown and destroy accurate little by little. What I'm not sure about is whether a barrel that is fitted with a muzzle brake such as this still has a target crown or not. I would think that there has to still be some crown and it can be damaged overtime by dragging a brush or jag across it. According to Krieger barrels people often think a barrel is worn out when it's really just the crown.

  • @buryceberg Like I said there are a lot of opinions on how to clean a barrel. I have heard do not go all the way out and I have heard it will not damage the barrel. I have not seen any issues as of yet and this barrel still shot tight. Thanks for sharing your input that is what it’s all about.

  • I use corrosive ammo in my AK 74 polish Tantal On the tube they say to use windex with ammonia and they say to let the windex to sit in the barrel for 10 minites to loose in all the corrosive build up. You say in your video that ammonia will damage the barrel. Would you ever use windex for a barrel to clean corrosive ammo out. Or should I use something else? Great video and thank you!!!

  • @bradmoore8 I was told to use water and dish sop, let it sit for 10min, then clean.

  • Could you list the supplies you use?

  • hey great video...is it necessary to use kroil oil to counteract the copper remover? or is it sufficient to dry-patch the shit out of it until it's clean and removed

  • @bpm990d Thanks for watching bpm990d. See 4:25 and then see 6:45 as well as the beginning of the Part 2 video where I address your comment.

  • Ammonia will eat your barrel? I think you need to research that one a little more.
