*o* I was looking for months the English version of "The merchant of Venice" with John Nettles!!!! I've only seen the Italian one! ^^ Thank you!

Finally the Merchant of Venice is complete and though I dare not call this version a brilliant one it is certainly an excellent one! The actors bring their characters to life and the scenery and costumes are fitting; the play it self does of course the most by providing the divine poetry of Shakespeare and it takes even modern theatre productions great pains to ruin a Shakespeare play with dumb modern follies and outrages, else the plays of Shakespeare easily charm the audience.
