The Bad Seeds were a mid 60s garage band from Corpus Christi, Texas. There were some other great combos in this area such as the Zakary Thaks, Liberty Bell and the Four More. The Bad Seeds first 45 was released on the J-Beck label in 1966 and had A Taste of the Same backed with I'm A King Bee. They performed both songs on local TV & the video is viewable on youtube. Later in '66 they had a recording session in Houston that provided their second 45 on J-Beck, Sick and Tired backed with All Night Long. I reckon Sick & Tired is their best song in the 60s garage punk vein. I like this description from the G45 site, which is referring to their first 45 but could just as easily cover this one also "he sound of this 45 is a kind of holy grail for 60s garage enthusiasts, simultaneously hitting multiple bullseyes with its raw punk credentials, superior songwriting and arrangement, moody edge, and rootsy blues feel. Yet it retains a polish which could have taken it high into the charts, had fate so decreed."

On a point of principle I'm refusing to follow your advice. Nothing personal but I'm 'sick and tired' of seeing that post on nearly every video I check out. Vested interest or summat?

I really like this kind of garage rock music from the 60s, and this track is very good. My hobby is to rediscover all those great bands from that period that didn´t "broke through". Listen (youtube) for example to:
THE ZETTLERS and their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah".
Really f.....g good with a bloody driving beat.
THE GOLLIWOGS and the song "Tell me". Check up the singer...Yes, it´s him!!

@pfordsq No need to apologize..I just want to spread the word that my dad is back to his guitar playing self...I am so proud of him!!! He did have a terrible accident with large spring in a garage door many years back...trashed his pointer finger and can barely bend it. But he has re-learned to play with it....there is definatley some magic going on with this Bubble Puppy reunion...thanks for listening!!!

Great music. I've had this song and "All Night Long" on a J-Beck 45-single since I was a 3-year old kid. Have always thought both songs are great, and the guitar playing is excellent. I've always wondered what these guys looked like, and what they are doing. Great to see this clip and a couple of the band clips also on youtube.

I liked the gal in the white mini dress better. Sadly , Rod Prince , of The Bad Seeds and The Bubble Puppy , sustained a devastating injury to his hand in an industrial accident , and won't be able to play guitar again. Chris Gerniottis of The Zakary Thaks told me about this. Nice use of period piece footage , well - synched , too.

Nothing would make a person more of a social pariah as to not know which fork to use on the first course of your meal. The embarrassment and humiliation one would endure would be mortifying to say the least. "Sarge" should have set that little minx straight!
