iMAME4all running on iPhone 4

iMAME4all is a iOS universal app done by David Valdeita (Seleuco), port of MAME 0.37b5 emulator by Nicola Salmoria for all iOS devices (iPad HD, iPhone 4G , iPod touch and older) and it is based on GP2X, WIZ MAME4ALL 2.5 by Franxis.

It emulates arcade games supported by original MAME 0.37b5 plus some additional games from newer MAME versions.

Good job but why MAME 0.37b5 ? Can't you just increase newer roms like Megaman 2 Power Battle and other others ?

@Rockmangames Performance reason... 0.37b5 it is very well optimized for this kind of device.... it's a pity, but to add new games i should to upgrade MAME version, and performance could be a problem...

This is by far the most effective emulator on the iphone. The touchscreen joystick works very well on beat em up style games.

But! The downsides are.. Not enough buttons for fighting games like MK, street fighter, etc. so, ull likely be stuck with limited moves. Also, finding compatible roms can be challenging. Be sure to look for ROMS that work for MAME version 0.37b5

i have download mame rom battle toads but mame4all doesn't find the name does anyone know why?

@Vasquez19781 there sites out there that has romz set for the iphone version. you have to google mame roms for iphone

iMAME4all ver.1.9 or higher DOES NOT work on older iphone 2g. You have to find a iMAME4all ver. 1.8 or lower and install via SSH. Those kind MAME developer forgot that there still people that use older iphone as a handheld portable mame system via wii classic controller.

Can you help me pleeze!! I want to play the exact game you have in the vid "Rainbow Island" but eveytime I download it (no matter what site) it keeps telling me Error: Required files are missing, the game cannot be run. Can you tell me how to fix this. I saw online that I had to add the "neoGeo.zip" to my rom folder but I did that and still no joy. Any assistance would be great, I subscribed.

How do you add roms for mame? It seems that there is no answers out there (google/youtube) on how to actually add the roms.

I'm using Cyberduck (Macbook Pro 10.6.6) but after i sign in and such i have no idea how to use this program... or is there a better program for mac users

How to you set up the roms (do you have to extract, if so what program do you use (for a Mac), what do you drag and drop into Cyberduck, and where do you get the roms from? (if they have to be specific types of roms),

When I try to change settings in options: Anyone know why it says: Error Saving Preferences, preferences couldn't be saved Check for write permissions, chmod 777 if needed. See help?  I have a ipod touch 4g 4.2.1, i downloaded Imame4all from BigBoss on my ipod. Anyone know how to fix this? If anyone knows how, please let us know how to solve this issue.
