@hannibalcaesar3 Yes I know he was drunk. The one thing that was proved without a shadow of a doubt during the Reno Court of Inquiry was that Reno drank too much. Years after the Inquiry, Reverend Dr. Arthur Edwards, Reno's chaplain during his Civil War days, did tell people that Reno had confided in him that he was indeed drunk at the Little Bighorn. This condition clearly affected Reno's conduct and ruled his decision making during the battle.
@dodazzle48 I never really thought much about this before. I guess the Custer painting I got in North Carolina is my favorite piece. It was the first thing I ever got regarding Custer.
