You use a lot of nice words. :-) However when the water gets warmer the frog will get more active and will eventually leave the pan. If your theory would be true, than frogs would change there behaviour in nature rarely based on environment temperature. When i say 'wiki the shite' I mean: do some research. There have actually been people who tried this since the 19th century claims of this boiled frog myth.

No it will not, for frogs are, as well as any other amphibians, poikilothermic animals. That means that the range of tolerance relating to the ambient temperature is prodigiously wide as against the slight variability that homoiothermics are able to tolerate. They use caloric energy from their environment thus avoiding additional heat generation. The disadvantage is, that they have no facility to adjust their blood temperature... which leads to eventual death.
