can anyone who knows what their talking about tell me a good round about time work is going to pick back up in the gulf? i recently graduated and still waiting on my TWIC to come, but every company ive contacted so far is not hiring. i live in texas so im already in the south

@hillbillydiver100 What dip shit instructor are you? Stay away from CDA in jax, thieves, for anyone wanting to goto dive school, goto the one in morgan city, the rest are overpriced jokes.

Dont go cheap. Theyll send you out with 0 knoweldge and you wont break out from being a tender for too long because you wont know what your doing. SBCC in Santa Barbara.

@whvance Well I'm in the Commercial Diving Academy & we have a guy that graduated from there that joined our class for deep water training at forty fathom grotto,and he has to go back to the school for a week on tools in the no vis. trout river(that has current..I believe he even said he didnt get any kind of haz-mat or haz-woper training,He said he dived in the ocean just a short time and the rest of it was tank time.Plus CDA gets you an IMCA.DCBC certified/recognized

@littleguy136 on life support equipment,you will want to learn and be tought right and in a realistic environment.I would reccomend the best in the world(Commercial Diving Academy in Jacksonville or Divers Institute of Technology in Seattle

@littleguy136 No dont pick the cheapest school possible.Pick a school that will teach you and train you right.Look for saftey,certifications,where and how they train.Those sort of things because you want to be able to out do the rest of the tender/divers coming from cheaper schools & when your job requires you to be

@killerrootz why would you tell him to pick the cheapest school? you get what you pay for and you definatley dont wanna cheap out on the training you get for commercial diving.
