I do not know when this will be out, or if it will be even out at all. It was just a side project I worked on a year and a half ago. I programmed this all myself from scratch (as in I didn't just copy/paste the code from Gold and put it in Red which would be impossible anyway) while using the pallets from Pokemon Gold.

This is very very very glitchy, but I just thought I'd show people how far I got. Also this is real color, not like super game boy color since I know people are gong to bring that up.

  • I see you changed the ground/dirt tiles.

Something looks off about the colors. Are you using the indoor palette from gold?

  • @pkmnmaster Maybe, I can't remember. If I were to continue this I'd probably have the pallets switch based on which tileset was loaded.

  • Hmm, glitchy, as you said, and I think some of the colours are a bit too bright and strong, but hey, good work man! I could never hope to achieve this!

  • @leftymu Thanks. I used the pallet data from Pokemon Gold. I might use Prism's instead, I like that one better than Gold's.

  • pretty awesome stuff, keep it coming.

    also xbones881 is gay.

  • I think you spelled going wrong in the description. Or maybe you mean something else with the word gong. I'm just saying. Nice work as well.

  • looks infinitly better than super game boy coloration. I never thought colors could make such a big difference.

  • @POKEMONMASTER260

Forget Glitch City, what does MissingNO. look like?!?

  • @Koolboyman Ah, that would be the most logical thing to do.

I remember how smart I thought I was when I took GB Colorizer and made Pokemon Red have Pokemon Gold's grass palette. xD

  • Show us what happens when you go to Glitch City in this! I'm interested!

  • wow very impressive. Did not think u would have gone this far. Keep up the good work.
