Yum! I just made this now. One of the best! I didn't have the burdock or the seaweed, but I'm going to try it with that next time I go to the health food store. I added tofu and green onions to this. Definitely making it again!

This recipe is awesome. What do you suggest eating with it? Rice maybe?

@kittytoast If you like rice, then sure! Brown rice, not white though. Soak brown rice for eight hours before cooking so that it is more easily digested. :)

I have never seen burdock root. Is it strong? What does it taste like? Can it be eaten raw?

@Wivanunu It looks like a long brown root--think carrot, but dark brown, and not tapered. It is fairly bland, but very grounding. Peel it first. I suppose some people might eat it raw, but I'm not so sure you would like it. I prefer to cook mine, usually in a stir fry, or in a soup.
