  • Lead Singer of Odemin Kwe Singers is from Wikwemikong Unceded First Nation!!

  • I got their cd ..

  • For one thing itz not the native way to judge other people. If what there doing is wrong then that will come back on them. And do u know these women personally and where they come from. How do u know they dont have native blood running threw their veins. Because being native is in ur blood not how u look

  • i personally know these ladies, and the ode'min kwe group its self. they are primarily ojibwe/odawas from the manitoulin island and communities on the north shore of lake huron in ontario. i grew up listening to these ladies, and i can identify them just by the way they sing. please check your facts before making crazy accusations..

ps. its peruvian, not perubian, learn to spell.

  • there on facebook...ode'min kwe singers come on and join

  • These women are Native, they're from Wikwemikong Unceeded Indian Reserve, on Maitoulin Island, the lead singer is Dana Fox, her drum group is called Odemin Kwe Singers.....Myoclann you need to get your facts straight, your getting raunch about nothing!

  • Im glad to see this is NOT the group the native canadian center hires and promotes, they are not native-but do collect a cheque from the native canadian center to fool others who do not really know! ther is a black, lead singer, a Perubian and a south american acting like north americans with medacine bundles and drums/eagle feasthers singing cree and ojibway songs, my native grandmother was very displeased to see other people pretending to be native woman singers

  • this song is awesome. it gave me people bummbs...lol

    i love this song

  • This is a Water Song, the sounds in the chant represent the swirles of a river. And if you listen closely, you can hear an elder throat singing.

  • Our Womyn's Drum group sings this song, passed on to us from a woman in Manitoba......never heard others sing it! Awesome!
