Cowboy's recall from a large distance.

This is my 4yr old Australian Shepherd who took off with a pack of dogs into the woods. I waited a few minutes (let him blow off some steam and have some fun) then filmed the recall. I had no idea where or how far he was at the time. If you'd like to learn how you can teach your dog a strong reliable recall, check out Zak George on animal planet or youtube. Though my method was a bit different, I called my dog and then ran away, using his natural instinct to chase to my advantage. Coming when called is one of THE most important commands. I should always be positive, you should be more interesting than the distraction.
