Sorry but i can't finish the movie because of major problems.
I hope you can enjoy what was made so far. It's recorded in face-poser. (with no hand animation. See below) And i hope it can demonstrate what 3dsmax + faceposer can really do when you take your time.

Okay so basically this was going to be a music video to symbolize how boring it is to sit in the intel room of 2fort on your own as an engineer. We've all been there.
This engineer was going to be sitting ontop of his dispenser, singing mad world and looking very depressed through his body language.
But the source engine doesn't want to co-operate and after countless frustrations, enough to make me throw my keyboard through my monitor. I give up trying to make it work.
I had to try and work around loads of different problems. First he had no face posing. Then his head doesnt move. Then his hat is on upside down. Then his head is on sideways. Then his hands dont animate. Then his chest is like someone shoved a spear through it. And now finally... the game CRASHES when the animation is played! I can't take it anymore, trying to make this work is extreamly frustrating. Why can't valve make a working model decompiler and all these problems would go away? I'm going to make something else instead.
I suppose i could just try a greenscreen but bleh, i've lost inspiration to finish this anyways.
If you are confused as to why the engineer keeps peering behind of him. This is the general plot outline the movie was going to have:
Start would be a slow walkthrough of the 2fort map, going towards the intel room where you see this engineer, slumped over looking very depressed. Sitting ontop of his dispenser as his sentry beeps nearby.
0:13 I skipped a bit that was not animated. Here he was going to run out of the spawn room and run down to the intel room as he sings "going nowhere, going nowhere" in a sort of dream-esc looking scene.
0:17 He points over to a beer bottle that is sitting on the intel desk. As a red pyro enters the room, and walks behind the engineer.
0:22 The engineer sings towards the pyro behind him, saying the words "no expression" as the camera zooms in to the pyros face.
0:33 He picks up the beer, wrapping his fingers around it. And brings it to his lips before talking more to the pyro and placing the beer on his knee.
0:44 This would be a wide shot and you would see that the pyro was a spy, as he backstabs the engineer. But it quickly re-fades in to the engineer singing, as he says it was a dream.
0:49 Faceposer decided to delete the lipsync here for no reason what so ever
0:55 The camera is behind the engineer as you see the Pyro leave, as the engineer makes a slight gesture
The rest of the movie would be in a different setting, an engineer sitting in an alley way at night with it raining heavily, and rain splattering on his helmet/shoulders as to be a sort of daydream. I was looking forward to playing with the particle editor to achieve this effect, but nevermind :p
I know you wont, but if you remade this whole thing, i'd hunt you down, go to your house, and give you a hug.

believe it or not, it's not valve... it means that the computer your using either isn't fast enough, or not enough memory.

@DAyerkes It's a bug with the engine, my computer is quite beastly. Trying to get the model to even compile was a huge headache. It would be different nowadays though now that the source files are released. Before i had to make do with decompiling, which barely even worked for the engineer model.

I really wish you would try again. I would love to see what you were intending. I know that doctorheredoctor made a G-Mod version of your video, but I can tell it is nowhere near what you had in your mind....
You don't have to do it now or even make it your very next project or even do it at all, its your choice.... But I wish you would try it again, I would love to see a finished version of this, the one you intended.

@DrClay999 Im thinking of trying this out again sometime, i've invested in some motion capture equipment so doing this would be easy. What has been putting me off doing it is that i did all the animation by hand which takes a long time to get it looking how you want it. But for now, i have other projects in mind to do before this.
