Hey Everyone! Pura Vida! If you don't know what 'Pura Vida' means, let's just say it's synonymous with Costa Rica itself. Pura Vida literally means, 'Pure Life', but here in Costa Rica it means SO much more. I LOVE the concept of 'Pura Vida' as it's a great reminder that it's the simple things in life that just may be the MOST important. But I also have a problem with 'Pura Vida'......Check OUT this video to see what my BEEF is. Try not to give me to much shi*t. I think I make a valid point. Let me know. And by the way..... the title I'm using, "Costa Rica - Pura Vida is BULLSH*T" is obviously just to get your attention.

You guys bastardise the "Pura Vida" when you used, I don't go to Hawaii and said Aloha to everyone there, otherwise I'll look like an asshole, if you know what I mean... If you plan to visit Costa Rica I recomend don't say "Pura Vida" to the locals and respect them, in that way you will have a good time, like every other country in the world.
