Hey this is cool because about 40 years ago when I was 13, I used to work at Hyak stapling lift tickets on skiiers. I lived at Conifer lodge. It was a great life.

What's the risk of a similar incident at the other slopes, e.g. Summit Central and West?

I believe the condition is unique to the summit at snoqualmie w/ the road having a switch back in the face of the slope collecting all the water then bursting out, creating a void for the snow above to collapse w/ the crown at the apex of the slope(where the lift tower that is leaning to the right.

All is well, I think I will ski it w/ my helmet cam tomorrow @ sunrise and get some close ups.
