Pharmaceutical waste should be returned to your local pharmacy, rather than left in medicine cabinets. This practice can lead to misuse, overdose and abuse of medications. The only recommended medications to be flushed down the toilet are narcotics, due to their controlled status. Medications contaminate our water supply, please become informed and use and dispose of medications properly.
