It's good to bring the entire family to this Cemetery, including the Korean War veteran. Is he your father? A fellow veteran from my Vietnam War unit is buried here, his name is Salvador Zabala from nearby Menlo Park, CA. He was a Clerk for our Headquarters Company, but he wanted to do more. So he volunteered to be a Doorgunner. Sal died in February 1967, when one of our Hueys went down. He was a very good man and loved his family, friends and country. Sal, RIP, we'll never forget you.
