The Books that I do NOT like!

This video chronicles over 300 books and journals that I threw away before retirement because I found out (belatedly) that they won't do me any good on this earth or in the world above! Above all, the Accounting Review - a difficult-to-read and cumbersome journal as well as the very many heavy and expensive business textbooks.... God-willing, I will shortly put on the webb - a series of free accounting seminars that people can use all across the globe with no limitation with the hope of better opportunities and equity for everyone all across our planet. In listening to your words and viewing other user comments, I have to say that the most profound statement you make here is the management is something best taught by someone who has practiced management. Not only managment, but many applications to life are taught by those far removed. How idealistic we are when in the universites, then we are released to find that we were not prepared at all...and managed by those who are incompetent. I appreciate this editorial you have done.

As someone with an English degree, I've found that it is difficult to make a living studying things that have intrinsic value because what makes the most money is trash.

If I was you, first I would have through away the religious and mystic books such as Bible, Quran, Bahai's books and any other religious books which wastes human time and energies, then I would have donated the said books to the library.

management books, I dont understand if some body does not know the different way of management today is being used in todays world, how a person who wants to be a manager how he can practice the management , same argument can be used for other books.

I liked what you said about managment. Very true. When I owned a company I had two managers who always fought with each other. They got nothing done.

May peace with you beloved brother.Wow, this is wonderful.I can imagine it is hard for a "Teacher" to teach things that do not resonate inside of him/herself to young minds,also when they do not carry a message of truth or is it of no use and does benefit another egoistical agenda(profit).That is why I am proud , for speaking the truth,that is the most important message here.So people here you have a wonderfull proffesor that is doing the wright thing and we must encourage this.Peace be with U
