I've been doing my research for possibly getting a copperhead. Would you recommend a copper head as a beginner snake? I currently own a Dumeril's boa.

I have a question. Do the anti-venom have a experation date on them or do they last forever?

@LVHeat29 Yes, they have an expiration date, generally 3 yr from manufacture.

Perhaps I am wrong, but some poison can be absorbed through the skin, can it not?
