Because Lyricism doesn't sell. Yeah the Clipse is hot but people prefer catchy music, hence, their biggest hits are grindin, what happened to that boy, and ma I don't love her. Also Clipse doesn't maintain buzz when they drop albums, they always fall back into the shadows for about a year. Once wayne got on top, he wasn't letting go. Better business decisions make for greater record sales. Bottom Line
