CFCA Walk2gether launch, Dec. 29, 2009

Fireworks and stars filled the sky as Walk2gether hit the road at 4 a.m. Dec 29, 2009.

A ceremony was held as CFCA President and Co-founder Bob Hentzen walked from the gates of the CFCA Guatemala project headquarters in San Lucas Toliman. Hundreds walked with Hentzen to support the trek. They were met by people lining the roads throughout the day. The launch begins an 8,000 mile walk to Chile, a journey lasting more than a year, traveling through CFCA communities in 12 countries.
