The UV glass tube bending was realized by Shauna Peterson of Peterson Neon. This video documents our first prototype tube for the Argon Drip light sculpture.

  • I used to be able to get UV Blacklight out of a scientific supply house in New Jersey. They're gone last I checked. Every once in a while Techno Lux tripps over some but Not often...Good Hunting!!!

  • @zdanz25 ....Um sure if it's Glass it CAN be heated but there's a high waste factor due to there's not much to them anymore and the glass is pretty gnarly as far as content.

  • Where does one even GET the UV neon tubing any more? I'm looking for small amounts of old colors - gold oxide red, midnight blue, golden noviol, uranium green, black 'block-out' and half-and-half and candy-striped tubing, for making Geissler tubes using lead glass.

  • can u bend glass beer bottle?
