The UV glass tube bending was realized by Shauna Peterson of Peterson Neon. This video documents our first prototype tube for the Argon Drip light sculpture.
I used to be able to get UV Blacklight out of a scientific supply house in New Jersey. They're gone last I checked. Every once in a while Techno Lux tripps over some but Not often...Good Hunting!!!
@zdanz25 ....Um sure if it's Glass it CAN be heated but there's a high waste factor due to there's not much to them anymore and the glass is pretty gnarly as far as content.
Where does one even GET the UV neon tubing any more? I'm looking for small amounts of old colors - gold oxide red, midnight blue, golden noviol, uranium green, black 'block-out' and half-and-half and candy-striped tubing, for making Geissler tubes using lead glass.
