  • Why tower vs. rackmountable servers?

    PC tower takes so much space but on the other they are cheaper than Servers.

  • We actually support all sizes of servers. From all variations of rack mountable servers and all sizes of PC case style servers. I think you answered your own question :) Rackmount servers cases are generally more expensive than PC Cases. This is mainly because PC Cases are mass produced at a higher volume than rackmount cases. It should be noted (with some very rare exceptions) the case style doesn't change the server performance at all. It's what's inside that matters :)

  • @nath0hcker heh, they don't, but these guys use so called "comodity hardware" in order to reduce cost...which in turn reduces price...but at some point that might cause performance/stability issues.
