Even when Danny restricted himself to backing another soloist, he was STILL far more interesting than whomever that was.
The greatest of all time.

he was using Freddie Green jazz guitar style(1930-1940's) on country style in Blues progression. It's old. but he did not afraid to use it.

He was a partial chord machine! I expect this level comping ability from modern jazz guys. Danny was one versatile guy...you never knew what was coming next.
