Unions have stepped to a new low by protesting churches in California. Protesting churches because of their use of private contractors instead of union labor. Churches who only employ one or two pastors and one head administrator and operate off of donations.

In Bakersfield, California the local carpenters union is protesting the Grace Baptist Church for hiring a contractor who hired non-union labor. Grace Baptist Church had no control over who the contractor hired. You would think the local carpenters union would take a pass at protesting a church, but I guess not. Though the church greeted the protesters with water, coffee, cookies and candy. Do they feel bad for standing in front of a church with a "Shame On the Grace Baptist Church"? No.

  • Unions would rather support communist scumbags that defend america

  • @ManOfDeath567 Work a non Union job is something Republicans really truly do love. Help them make millions off your work, and purchase your own medical insurance out of your paycheck ( Limbaugh says medical care is like any other item to be purchased ) and fund your own retirement account out of your paycheck. By the way, after you have done that, let me know how many pennies you have left...

  • All of America saw on multiple videos what you union fucking thugs do........... I'm an agnostic but will defend any church who is attacked by the marxist barfbags that you are........ you are now attacking churches because you know they won't defend themselves....like the fucking cowards that you are........ and yes........ I'm one of the 2 ''dislikes'' among the viewers.......... so fucking what???

  • How can I be more active in supporting the Republicans in my area?

  • goon

  • @sandro28grizz People who give to a struggling church is charitable. Especially the churches that do not claim tax exemption to give others a tax break. They do this so the government cannot mandate what they do. So if I give to a little church which is struggling this is to give to a cause I believe in.

  • @BenAliGtor [Crossing a picket line is as low a thing a person can do] Maybe in certain circumstances, but here you have union goons who want to exert their muscle to influence that they are the only ones hired. This gives them no incentive to earn the sell. their work should speak for itself. We see the same problem with big business running our country. legislation to make sure they are the winners so the little guy can't even survive.

  • @MayonR Let them find someone else to peddle their mercenary religionism to, then. Crossing a picket line is as low a thing a person can do. If I were passing a union busting church late at night and and saw flames inside, I wouldn't even waste my time dialing 9-1-1 on my cell phone.

  • @BenAliGtor that just creates a monopoly of a situation. People should be hired by the merits of their work. Hiring is part of the free market mechanism so if someone else who is not union can provide a better service than there is nothing wrong in hiring them. If you are against this then you are against what America has always stood for.

  • @sandro28grizz Most churches excluding the mega churches are struggling organizations. If you look at available data you will find out that churches are fast disappearing from the United States as compared to other countries, because they struggle to pay for their bills. So churches are not driven by superstition because their is no salvation in donating as far as Christianity goes. It is driven by charitable hearts. I can't say this for all churches but on a wide scale this is true.
