My good friend and mentor RF Culbertson is an entrepreneurship professor at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He's always told me that his class is more of a rock concert than a lecture, but I never really understood until I attended in person.

When I walked into the room before class, there were music videos projected on the screen and the music was loud. Everyone got settled and before RF introduced me to speak, he made the entire class stand up and sing Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" along with a coordinated dance step. Obviously they had done this before because they all knew the dance step and jumped right up without hesitation.

Now this is classroom engagement!
