the red car and the blue car had a race all that red could do was stuff his face he eats everything he sees from trucks to prickly trees but smart old blue he took the milky way he's looking for a chocolate treat fluffy and light cos he knows it won't spoil his app-e-tite mm mm MMMM! oh no! the bridge has gone, poor old red just can't carry on but smart old blue, he took the milky way get it right

I miss the older version, Here in Ireland, they shortened it even further, e.g. the part about the bridge being out is now gone!
I also agree about bringing back the old ads. Even when I watch the odd old VHS tape of TV recordings, I look forward to watching the ad-breaks, as at least they were enjoyable to watch, unlike the current ones which serve no better purpose than as a toilet break.

Agreed it's different, but they had to change it really. Make it more up to date, and remove parts which they're not allowed to have anymore lol. Like Dinner town, and the doughnut he eats in the original.
It's more "PC"

Because of political correctness gone mad, that's what. Advertisers have to be extra careful when promoting unhealthy food like sweets and chocolate in case they get blamed for causing childhood obesity.
Loved this ad and still love Milky Ways.
