New MINIBRUTE! $500 ANALOG SYNTH from ARTURIA! First Look and Arpegiator Test

Great Sound at a Reasonable Price! $500 The controls and keyboard are good quality and very playable. It also has MIDI and USB. I liked the multi-featured arpegiator a lot, which you can synch to MIDI tempo ( to use with our Drum Machines and Laptops! ) I will certainly do a more detailed review of this synth when they arrive at NoiseBug. Highly Recommended!

This is overpriced rubbish. Its going backwards. I havent heard ONE truly useable bass sound come out of this minibrute. And mono too. My DX7 MK2 will blow this away for bass and a thousand other great sounds this waste of money cannot do.

@fender1000100 most people have agreed this is quite a reasonable price for new analog gear. ;-) As for the sound? To each, his own. I will do a more detailed video later, but it sounded good to me at first try? And a nice set of controls.

@bibibibibiotip Yes, probably. You notice I had the "Brute Factor" knob turned up ( a kind of feedback distortion? ) as well as mixed waveform sliders... This was a quick look at NAMM, a detailed test will be soon...

FILTERS are not necessary for killer bass and power in a sound my demo7 will show this.

The filter has a 12dB/octave low-pass filter rather than a 24dB/octave filter like you find on a Moog, but that doesn't mean it's a waste of money. There are other parts to a tune aside from the bass. This synth has a lot to offer.

@VJFranzk, I might seem harsh but its how I feel about this overrated analogue gear. And if you are willing to part with 500 benjamins for a mono synth with limited use. Thats up to you. Since every sound in my music comes from my DX7S. It has to be the business. And I have a demo coming at the end of February called Starship Enterprise. Maybe if you listen to it and the 808 drum machine created by myself on the DX7S and that BASS. You will know why I walk with this attitude. Peace...
