  • Wow a Classic I was 16 when this came out wow what memories. Thanks for the post where the F--K did life go

  • @Tessmage Well, one of the first US punk bands - the Dead Boys - included their version on their first record. It's just that kind of song, like a lot of the garage rock from '65 to '68 - it rocks, and you don't have to be a brilliant musician to play it. Kind of what punk started out being about, now that I think of it...

  • WOW great to hear again one more one hit wonder.Rock on

  • @kurtmanerz1=Yeah! Long live Stiv (rip) & the boys.....and their version of this song is just as brilliant as this..they amp it up a bit..and when Stiv sings "too bad little girl its all over for you..ha ha" you could almost believe him (he's a bit scarier than these guys..great as they are). One of the best songs ever.

  • Great song, and I love this video! R.E.M. used to cover this song regularly when I would see them in their early days.

  • @delta9779 Where the F__K DID life go? I laughed when I saw that, but it really ain't too funny is it. :) Great song by the way. Loved it.

  • @delta9779 pretty much all went straight to hell from the 90`s

  • Good song, remember it very well. Never seen the band before this.

  • @MrNocaster1 Yeah, Uncle sent out a whole load of those invites. What I think is that we should reserve comments on here to the music mostly, and not foul it up with the F--G war. We had the greatest couple of years in history with our Hemi's and cruisin' and I hope that politics don't ruin the memory of it for you. Let's encourage ourselves and others like us to recall the best of it. Peace...

  • I had this 45 until last summer, when I sold it along with about a hundred other sixties greats.

  • @J0EYbagaDONUTS Flower Punk is one of my all-time favorite Zappa/Mothers songs! I don't completely hear the resemblance except for that one chord progression but thanks for reminding me about that song!

  • OH YEAAAA!!!!!...Great song!!
